Sorry this took me so long to post! A week ago when I was down in Fairhope I had the privilege of meeting the builder of this beautiful new green home. I'm really happy that green is catching on in my hometown. The home is stick-framed but jam packed with cellulose insulation. The windows are high efficiency and the fixtures low-flow. They did a great job incorporating local, environmentally friendly products as well including salvaged wood beams from the site for trim work and wood floors native to the area.
